1950s Vintage Hudson Bay Red and Back Point Stripe Blanket Jacket Coat

Fantastic and super classic Hudson Bay Red / Black stripe point coat, with some considerations. Three sets of buttons down the front of the chest, waist vertical pockets, and flap hip pockets. Belt around the middle, can detach as necessary.

Tag / Label: This is Hudson Bay, but the tag was cut out when the bottom part was chopped off.

Material: Wool

Condition: Good; the original owner altered this to fit them so there are some considerations: 1) has two vertical seams on the back to bring in the waist by 2" (these are on the interior / not visible; 2) the bottom was chopped and has a hand-done whip stitch hem; 3) there is some wear on the back side of the belt (does not effect wearabillty at all); 4) Some collar dinge (we washed).

Altogether, this coat has a lot of life left and a lot of love to give! Priced gently, considering.
