1950s Vintage BIG MAC Penney's Shop Coat Herringbone Thrashed Overcoat

BIG MAC vintage shop coat from the 1960s. This type of over coat is also called a shop coat because it was worn by car workers to keep their suits clean. Herringbone twill gray fabric. Original belt included.

Condition: Authentically worked in! There is a scattering of paint & other stains throughout the garment, as well as some snags in the fabric, etc. We have mended one hole that was at the front of the garment with a patch; as it was the only thing that was truly detrimental to wearability. However, we have washed but left the rest as-is, as the various spots & stains speak to a life well lived by this garment and its past.
