A traditional Mexican Tamaulipeca Cuera jacket in contrasting white and golden brown suede leather, circa 1940s - early 1950s. Floral designs all over, with a large crest at the bottom back of the jacket. And the FRINGE! Lining is orangey red satiny acetate with one interior pocket. Two diagonal slit pockets at the waist, and buttons down the front with four double plastic loop buttons. An incredible statement piece!
Bust/Chest: 38"
Shoulder: 17.5"
Arm Length: 23"
Length: 28"
Getup Size: Small
Tag / Label: None
Material: Suede Leather, Acetate Lining, Buttons
Condition: Good and very wearable with consideration to age of the garment. There is some wear to the suede, brown age spots on the white leather, one nick at the back shoulder collar, and the bottom two plastic closures are missing one loop each (they can still be closed with the remaining loop). Finally, there are four (intentionally?) cut slits at the bottom hem. She still presents beautifully & is just the coolest, rarest, most awesome jacket we've seen in a long while!
