Thank you for considering us to sell your vintage clothing! We truly appreciate the history of vintage clothing and would love to give your cherished goods a new life!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We sell vintage clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, accessories, wall art, and home goods for everyone from the time periods of the 1900s through 1999. An item is considered vintage if it is at least 20 years or older. 

We are ALWAYS looking for things that are INTERESTING and OLD and we love POP CULTURE and ROCK AND ROLL! We are looking for YOUTHFUL and FUN clothing, reflective of the counter-cultures of decades past. We want the bellbottoms you wore when you were going through your “hippie” phase! Or, the black leather studded jacket from when you were a punk rocker in 1977! Your mod dresses of the 60’s, sugary sweet 1950’s new look fit-and-flare dresses, and the wacky acid-wash denim of the 80’s. Think ICONIC, items that would cause you to reminisce and say “Remember when we wore that?!”

ITEMS PURCHASED OUTRIGHT We want to give you cash on the spot for your great quality vintage items. We pay more for RARE and QUALITY pieces.  

SELLBACKS Because we are buy/sell, every piece we consider we look at as if we are seeing it for the first time. If you have pieces that you purchased from us that no longer fit or did not work out for you, we do buy back most vintage we sell. However, we must again evaluate the item for designer, season, size, condition, and how long ago customers may have seen the item on the first go-round.

WE DO NOT BUY SHEIN, TEMU, H&M, FOREVER 21, ZARA, ANY MODERN CLOTHING or FAST FASHION. Some other definite no: business casual attire / business suiting; wedding dresses / bridesmaids dresses; formal military officer’s suits (we do like casual / drab); formal dish sets, silverware, trinkets.

ALL SELLING IS BY APPOINTMENT. We have 2 appointment types:

WE COME TO YOU - Do you have A LOT OF STUFF? Like… a lot A LOT? Or even a full closet? Multiple closets? A whole house, barn, attic that hasn’t been touched in a while? We can do all sorts of visits - big and small! Whether you are downsizing, moving, a loved one has passed, there’s a hoarding scenario, or you’re a collector - we treat all situations with respect. We regularly travel to procure the best vintage clothing possible. 

SELLING APPOINTMENTS AT OUR ANN ARBOR RETAIL STORE - if you have a SMALL amount of items - maximum of 2 suitcases / laundry bags / ikea bags / duffle bags / similar. Appointments are usually M-F mornings before the store opens. The buyers are not always on site, and retail staff may not look at clothes nor hold hold them or make offers on our behalf. Bring items folded in a reusable container that we can return to you. NO trash bags and NO items on hangers, please.  

HOW TO SIGN UP ON OUR WAITLIST Everyone joins the waitlist and we will contact you from there. In store appointments are divided by item type. You may sign up for multiple item types / appointments at checkout. Once you get to the calendar, it will say “no appointments available in the next 30 days - join the waitlist”. 

We prioritize buys at your home / location and can take a limited amount of buys at our retail store every month. Our most wanted items as of January 2025 are 1) jewelry, 2) purses / wallets / small accessories, & 3) men's clothing. That said, there are a few things you can do to speed up the process:

1) Sign up for the specific item types you have for in-store appointments only (you may add multiple to your waitlist request). No need to specify for in home buys.

2) Add a “Waitlist Note” on the final page with a general idea of what you’d like to bring (i.e. 2 boxes of costume jewelry, 20-30 of my mother’s dresses from the 1970s, et cetera). Era and brand/designer is preferred, as "purple sweater" doesn't do much for us - there's billions of purple sweaters in the world.
