Want To Sell Us Vintage?

Thank you for considering us to sell your vintage clothing. We truly appreciate the history of vintage clothing and would love to give your cherished goods a new life!

We sell vintage clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry and accessories for everyone from the time periods of the 1900s through 1999. An item is considered vintage if it is at least 20 years or older. 

We are always looking for things that are interesting and OLD and we love pop culture and rock & roll! We are looking for youthful and fun clothing, reflective of the counter-cultures of decades past. Think ICONIC, items that would cause you to reminisce and say “Remember when we wore that?!” To help you figure out if your goods are a good fit for us, simply head to our shop at 210 S Fourth Ave and browse our racks there.

We buy any season any time of the year, but we pay the most for current season goods that are in excellent condition, already cleaned, and that can go directly on the sales floor. Regarding sellbacks (items you bought at our store), every piece we consider we look at as if we are seeing it for the first time.

We love a house call (if you have a lot of stuff, it's much easier for us and you to leave it in one place!) or can do buying appointments at our store weekday mornings outside of shop hours. We will travel! House calls take priority.

BY APPOINTMENT: OUTRIGHT PURCHASE AND CONSIGNMENT OPTIONS 

All selling is by appointment. We purchase the vast majority - 99% of of our stock - outright via a choice of cash on the spot or store credit. 

For the top 1% of our stock we offer consignment. These items are exceedingly rare, designer, very old, and/or hard to come by. We research, authenticate, and determine the item's expected value in the resale market; as well as clean and repair the item to be ready for sale. We then review the expected selling prices with you, photograph the items, and list them on our online selling platforms. Consignment length is a 3 month window once listed online. Our goal is to price fairly and get your items sold, and you receive a higher percentage of the sale than a cash offer. If goods are unsold, an option is given to re-evaluate the listing price for a 1 month extension, or have your items returned to you.

Modern "vintage style" clothing, fast fashion of any sort, formal military officer's suits, business suiting, wedding dresses, formal dish sets, or silverware.

Our store is 90% casual clothing to 10% formalwear.

A note: Buying for a clothing store is like building a burger. We may have to turn away perfectly fine goods in certain categories if we are too full in some areas, and prioritize what is selling fastest for us. We need to buy the special sauce, lettuce, onions, cheese, etc - we cannot stock a store with just two all beef patties and a sesame seed bun.

3 EASY WAYS to get on our appointment calendar and/or waitlist, in order of our preference - but choose whichever method is easiest for you.

1) Text us photographs of your items at 734-327-4300. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the buyers to review text messages. We will confirm we have received your photos, but often set aside a day to review and reply to all messages received in batches.

We receive many texts daily, so please include your FULL NAME in your text message so we can know who is who!

Designer items and consignment considerations: If you have designer items that you want to consign with us, especially vintage purses, please put in your subject line / text message ATTN: CONSIGNMENT.
