For Galentine's day this year, we hosted the first round of make-and-take pinback buttons and we're proud to say we raised $400 for the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center! We're hopeful that we can have just as much impact for a different (but also local us in Michigan) mutual aid fund. We had so much fun during the event last time and are so excited for round 2!
Stop in anytime from 12PM - 6PM on Sunday, April 12th to make your very own retro style 2.25" pinback button out of vintage and repurposed materials that we provide. Suggested donation is $5 per button, make as many as your heart desires!Â
We also have pre-made buttons available at the register. Additionally, The Getup is donating $1 for every sale we make (since our last donation on March 8th) to add on to whatever funds are raised during this event. We hope to see you there!
