1960s to early 1970s Black Label Gunne Sax Medieval Revival Renaissance Prairie Dress 1969

From the most wonderful period of Gunne Sax, this beauty is at home either at the renaissance faire or fit for the wedding of a princess! Elastic blue bust with ribbon trim, jute surrounding all trim, lace apron, lace puff sleeves, and just a gorgeous and classic silhouette on this Black Label Gunne Sax.

Material: Polyester, Cotton, Jute, Lace, Ribbon Trim

Condition: Good. We have done lots of restoration with this garment: installed new elastic in the bust area, stitched and reinforced seams, and soaked clean MANY times. There is remnants of either a nosebleed or food spillage, with a few dots near the empire waist (very light) and then more on the lace  near bottom / skirt below the knee - it looks as if something was dropped down the skirt. After about 8 soaks, we did not want to damage the jute or integrity of the fabric; all have lightened. Please see flat lay photographs. She still presents beautifully and we're proud to give her a new life!
